North Northants Leisure delivered an exciting programme of activities throughout the summer holidays, providing children, young people and families with plenty of opportunities to stay active, creative and engaged.

The return of our popular SPLAT programme saw children enjoy six themed weeks of activities, each offering unique experiences and challenges. This year's themes included Dream World, Our Wonderful World, Time Traveller, Junior MasterChef, Retro Week, and Themes Around the World, ensuring there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Our Good Vibes Only sessions also returned across the area, bringing wellbeing and mindfulness opportunities to communities in Coronation Park (Corby), North Park (Kettering), The Pemberton Centre (Rushden), Rothwell Town Library (Rothwell), and St Mark's Church (Wellingborough). Participants took part in a range of calming activities, including yoga, sound baths and mindful colouring, helping people relax, connect and prioritise their wellbeing.

This summer also marked the launch of our very first Sports Camp, delivered in partnership with Corby Athletics Club. Despite the warm weather, children and coaches showed fantastic commitment and enthusiasm as they took part in a variety of athletics disciplines, developing new skills and confidence along the way.

To round off the summer, North Northants Leisure brought the music and fun with a series of Silent Discos across North Northamptonshire, delivered in partnership with The Silent Disco Project. Events took place at Oakley Vale Community Centre (Corby), Palm Beach (Wellingborough), Saxon Hall (Raunds), Stanwick Village Hall (Stanwick), and Corn Market Hall (Kettering). The sessions proved a huge hit, with participants of all ages enjoying a unique and energetic way to get active and have fun together.
