Corby East Midlands International Pool is running a RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification course, this course is an internationally recognised qualification, that's well respected within the sport and leisure industry, and it also gives UCAS points that help people get into university.
When: Our next course will be running between Monday 11th - Thursday 14th November 2024 and then Monday 18th - Thursday 21st November 2024.
Time: 17:15pm - 22:15pm.
100% attendance is compulsory on this course.
Location: Corby East Midlands International Pool, Parkland Gateway, Corby, George Street, NN17 1GQ.
Cost: £250 per person.
Prerequisites:
• Be 16+ years of age on the date of the assessment.
• Jump/Dive into deep water.
• Swim 50m in no more than 60 seconds.
• Swim 100m continuously on front and 100m continuously on back.
• In deep water, tread water for 30 seconds.
• Surface dive to the floor of the pool.
• Climb out of the pool unaided without using a ladder/step where the pool design permits.
