All Sessions Need To Be Pre-Booked This includes gym sessions, group exercise / aqua classes and swimming sessions. This can be done online at corbyleisure.co.uk/member-area 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This can also be done via the telephone by calling Corby East Midlands International Pool on 01536 464643 or Lodge Park Sports Centre on 01536 400033 during our normal operational hours. Gym Sessions

To reduce congestion in changing rooms and corridors, access the gym will be pre-bookable every 10 minutes at both sites. We are limiting access to 4 people every 10 minutes at Corby East Midlands International Pool and 3 people every 10 minutes at Lodge Park Sports Centre. Please select the site you wish to attend when booking online. Please arrive promptly as we are only allowing a 10 minute access window for entry.

Group Exercise Classes

We will be running a full programme, however, to ensure we are adhering to social distancing guidance, we have adjusted the maximum capacity of our classes to 1 person per 100sqft. You must also adhere to social distancing measures while in our studios. We have placed 'training station' floor stickers as guide to support this. As an example, this means the studio at Corby East Midlands International Pool now has a maximum capacity of 14 participants per class, with the other studios at Lodge Park Sports Centre modified accordingly. Due to the success of our online classes, we will also be streaming some of our classes online. These classes will be highlighted on our group exercise timetable that will be published shortly. These classes will be streamed exclusively to our private Facebook group. Please join our Private Facebook Group here. Finally, to ensure that all members get a fair opportunity to take part in classes, we are asking members to book no more than 3 classes per week.

Lane Swimming This will be a double lane. When this is in our 25m setup, this will mean a maximum of 10 people per lane. In our 50m setup, this will mean a maximum of 15 people per lane. There will be a strict clockwise system in operation, with no overtaking to comply with social distancing. Swim England have also indicated that butterfly stroke is not permitted. There will be a slow / breast stroke lane, an intermediate lane and a fast / club lane, so please book yourself into the lane that applies best to you. If lane swimming is restricted, an intermediate lane will be the default speed.

Family Swimming Pods Our customers are now able to hire out sections of the pool, which we call pods. Each pod can be booked up to 7 days in advance, and swimmers should be within your social distancing 'bubble' or household. These pods will be priced at the same as a family swim, which is currently £10.50 for leisure card holders. These sessions will be available 7 days a week, outside of aquatic lesson times.

Aquatic Lessons (Swimming and Diving)

All participants in lessons are required to come 'beach ready' for their lesson. This is because we need to reduce the risk of congestion in changing areas, and therefore potential areas of transmission. We have also put markings down on poolside to indicate waiting areas and collection points. Please note, instructors are only permitted to teach from poolside. Participants also need to have their swimming hats and googles on prior to entering the pool. We will be publishing a video with more guidance on this shortly, so you can visually see how your aquatic lesson journey will work. Changing areas will be available for after your lessons only, where needed.

Health Suite, Creche and Cafe. Access to our health suite, including spa pool, steam room and sauna is currently prohibited inline with government guidance. We have also decided to keep our creche and cafe areas closed for now, but we will update you all as soon as we know when these services will resume. Sports Halls and Astroturf Bookings:

Due to guidance changing from all the sporting governing bodies on a regular basis, please contact us directly at Lodge Park Sports Centre on 01536 400033 for more information.

We think we have covered everything in this email, but if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

We are looking forward to seeing you again and welcoming you back to our gyms and swimming pools.

Yours in Health and Fitness,

All the staff at Corby Leisure.
