So incredibly proud!
We’re currently supporting 118 children aged 3 months to 4 years, and their grown-ups, with our weekday Discovery Duckling swimming lessons at Corby East Midlands International Pool… and what an amazing journey it is to be part of!
Derek, our fantastic pre-school swimming instructor (amongst many other qualifications!), is doing an incredible job guiding our #DuckSquad as they build those all-important, life-saving water confidence and safety skills they’ll carry with them for the rest of their lives.
Starting swimming from such a young age isn’t just about having fun in the water (although there’s plenty of that). It’s about creating strong foundations in confidence, safety, and essential life skills.
Teaching water safety early means:
✔️ Little ones learn to feel calm and confident in the water
✔️ They begin developing key survival skills like floating and turning to safety
✔️ It supports coordination, balance, and muscle development
✔️ It builds listening skills, trust, and routine
✔️ It creates precious bonding time between parent and child
Most importantly, it gives families peace of mind knowing their child is learning to be safe around water from the very beginning.
Watching 118 little swimmers grow in confidence week after week is truly something special.

Improve coordination, balance and motor skills
And most of all, enjoy the 1:1 time in the water with your child! Reduce stress while singing nursery rhymes and socialising with other parents and babies of the same age.
Next term will be starting from W/C Monday 13th April – W/C Monday 18th May.
Monday 4th May is a bank holiday.
The course will be for a x6 week term (£46.20) however Monday’s will be for x5 weeks (£38.50). Spaces kept on first come, first serve basis. Spaces are available across all days.
Bookings for these won’t open until the Easter Half Term so keep eyes peeled for the Go Live date!
