North Northants Leisure is celebrating as two of our staff, Craig Ellis who works in our Sport & Play Development Team and Megan Turns in our Administration & Marketing team have successfully completed their Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship. Congratulations to you both, a fantastic achievement and commitment from you both. Well done from all your colleagues.
We asked them if they would say a few words about their achievement;
"Completing the apprenticeship has provided me with a broader perspective on the Council, my team, and a recognition of the value and skills I bring to NNC. The knowledge and skills I gained through the apprenticeship will support me in future projects." Megan Turns.
"Passing my Business Admin Level 3 Apprenticeship has been very beneficial to me and my future career. It gave me the opportunity to develop and learn new skills that will open up more future opportunities and helping me achieve my long term goals. In addition to this, I am already applying the knowledge I developed into my current role and sharing that knowledge with members in my team." Craig Ellis.
An apprenticeship is a way of studying towards a formal qualification. The apprenticeships were completed over an 18-month period and involved, project work, presentations, research and allow development of skills and knowledge. The Council’s inhouse apprenticeship programme is delivered by the Learning and Development Team 😊
