Dear Members,
Due to the recent Government announcement we are pleased to say that we will be
re-opening our facilities as of Wednesday 2nd December. Corby East Midlands International Pool will open from 6:30am and Lodge Park Sports Centre will open from 6:15am as usual. We have also received a lot of questions about the new National Tier System. Corby has currently been placed in Tier 2. As we operate COVID Secure facilities, the following applies:
Tier 1: Gyms can open and group exercise classes can continue following the previous guidance.
Tier 2: Gyms can open and group exercise classes can continue following the previous guidance. *Corby is currently here
Tier 3: Gyms can open, however, group exercise activities and indoor sports should not take place unless with household or bubble. Organised activities for elite athletes, under 18’s and disabled people can continue. FAQ: Are exercise classes limited to ‘the rule of 6’ in Tier 1 and 2? Exercise classes can have more than 6 people in them in Tier 1 and 2, as long as they follow the COVID secure guidelines (including keeping social distancing). However, you are not allowed to have more than 6 people mixing (closer than 2m).
Memberships Update
To make things much smoother for everyone, we will automatically re-activate all leisure memberships that collected in November 2020. It is important to note though that we will not be collecting your Direct Debit in December. This means your next Direct Debit payment will be in January (02.01.2021). Any members on 6 months or Annual Memberships will automatically have an additional month added to their memberships too.
*If you have been made aware that your direct debit did not collect on 02.11.20 then you can call 01536 400033 as of 02.12.20 to make the pro rata payment to bring your account back up to date.

New Group Exercise Timetable
To increase the amount of members we can get in some of our classes, we have added a new sound system in our Practice Hall at Lodge Park Sports Centre. This means some of your favourite classes may not be where they were before. There are a lot of changes so please make sure you check our new timetable
When Can I Book My Classes Again? Due to a technical issue, we are unable to allow customers to pre-book their group exercise classes again until we re-open on Wednesday 2nd December. We will be taking bookings for all classes from 6:15am both online and via the telephone on that day. Booking online for your class is easy and you can use the link below to book on the day. Book Online *Please ensure you have checked the location of your class prior to booking (Facility and Room), as we have moved these around to improve the amount of people that can attend as stated above.
