Studio Floor Refurbishment Complete

During the final two weeks of 2025, the studio at Corby East Midlands International Pool underwent a full floor refurbishment, with the removal of the existing floor and the installation of a new Junckers SylvaSport Club Grade Beech Lacquered Hardwood Flooring. The improvement has made a significant difference to the look, feel and performance of the studio. To further compliment the new flooring, a new wall colour scheme has been introduced, carefully selected to enhance the overall environment and promote a positive sense of wellbeing for studio users.
In addition, a new fire-rated privacy wrap has been fitted to the studio doors, providing enhanced privacy for customers during group exercise sessions while maintaining all required safety standards.
We would like to thank local contractor Capital Floors Ltd for their excellent work throughout the project. From the uplift and removal of the old floor to the levelling works, installation of the new flooring, and fitting of combi skirting and thresholds, the project was completed to a very high standard. Particular thanks go to Project Manager Dean and the wider team for their professionalism from start to finish.

Finally, we would like to thank all customers who continued to attend the temporarily relocated classes at Lodge Park Sports Centre during the two-week closure. Thanks to your support and flexibility, only two classes were cancelled during the refurbishment period.
