Congratulations to Jamie on Completing His NVQ Level 2

Huge Congratulations to Assistant Greenkeeper here at Priors Hall Golf Course for

completing his NVQ Level 2 in Sports Turf Greenkeeping, Jamie in February attended a Celebration event as part of National Apprenticeship week, where he received his certificate from Chief Executive Adele Wylie and Leader of the council Martin Grifiths.

Since joining our greenkeeping team at Priors Hall Golf Course, Jamie has become an integral part, providing support, enthusiasm and commitment to the other members. Maintaining an 18 hole golf course with a four man team requires them to work together as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Jamie's knowledge and expertise have developed considerably, which has had a huge impact not only on the team, but also the day-to-day maintenance of the golf course. Jamie's is now able to complete all of the day to day tasks required to a very high standard, backed up by the knowledge and support gained through is apprenticeship.

From everyone at Priors Hall Golf course we are so pleased Jamie has successfully completed is apprenticeship, as we know how hard he has worked over the last 18 months, he is a credit to himself and the course.

The greenkeeping apprenticeship is invaluable to us, as this is the third member of our greens team to have completed the course, as it provides the staff with the necessary skills and knowledge for the future.
